Smartsheet, based in Bellevue, Washington, revealed today that it has been acquired by Blackstone and Vista Equity Partners for about $8.4 billion. The acquisition, which was initially disclosed on September 24, 2024, was sanctioned by Smartsheet stockholders on December 9, 2024. Following the finalization of the takeover, the company's stockholders are set to benefit from the deal.
