# Taiwan Semiconductor's advanced process wafer fab in the Southern Taiwan Science Park will fully resume operations today

The supply chain reveals that TSMC's Nanke Plant 18, which was shut down due to the earthquake, will fully resume operations today and return to normal production. This plant is a newly built wafer fab, primarily producing advanced processes of 3 and 5 nanometers, with a higher seismic resistance. The estimated number of damaged wafers is within 30,000. Meanwhile, about half of the equipment at Plant 14, which produces mature processes, has been affected and is still under emergency repair, with the resumption time yet to be determined, and the scrapped wafers exceeding 30,000
