# PEARL RIVER PIANO expects a net loss of 193 million to 250 million yuan for the fiscal year 2024, turning from profit to loss year-on-year

According to the Zhitong Finance APP, Pearl River Piano (002678.SZ) released its performance forecast for 2024, expecting a net loss attributable to shareholders of the listed company of between 193 million yuan and 250 million yuan for the year, turning from profit to loss compared to the same period last year.

Due to multiple factors such as severely insufficient domestic and international market demand for pianos and the industry entering a deep adjustment period, the company's piano sales and operating revenue have significantly declined compared to the same period last year; in addition, the total profit has significantly decreased compared to the same period last year due to factors such as a significant increase in unit production costs caused by a decrease in output, increased personnel optimization expenses during the reporting period, and asset impairment provisions
