On January 29th, the first refrigerated fresh seafood train organized by the Supply Chain Group under China Railway Materials successfully set off on the China-Laos Railway. This batch of seafood consists of fresh octopus, loaded at a seafood factory in Long An, Vietnam. It was transported by truck, passing through the Cha Lo port in Vietnam to reach Vientiane South Station in Laos, and then took the "Lancang-Mekong Express" international freight train on the China-Laos Railway to arrive at Wangjiaying West Station in Kunming. The entire transportation process took 4.5 days, saving 1/3 of the transportation time compared to traditional sea freight methods, providing more options for the transportation of fresh products from Southeast Asia.
