# Weibo cleans up content related to mutual tearing and disputes over Spring Festival movie releases, with over 600 accounts being dealt with

Weibo administrators released a community announcement: The platform has discovered that during discussions related to movies during the Spring Festival, some users deviated from rational discussion, posting inflammatory comments, engaging in mutual attacks and insults, and provoking divisions, which undermined the civilized and healthy online atmosphere. In response, the platform has strictly enforced the requirements of the "Clear and Bright · 2025 Spring Festival Online Environment Rectification" special action and platform rules. At this stage, the platform has cleaned up over 7,000 pieces of violating content such as mutual attacks and provocations in accordance with the "Weibo Community Convention" and other relevant regulations, and has imposed phased bans on over 600 violating accounts, including @抱兔散人， @两个哈妮， and @摸摸白狐， depending on the severity of the violations
