Additionally, several popular stores will open in New Town Plaza in the first quarter of this year, including Bakehouse, Beiyue Dorayaki, Mushroom World, and Tim Ho Wan Dim Sum. ## Preview of Lantern Festival and Valentine's Day Events Xu Jiawen, Deputy General Manager of the Leasing Department at New World Development, stated that the Lunar New Year is a traditional peak consumption season. With Shenzhen having resumed the "one visa, multiple entries" policy, the mall has invested HKD 8 million in Lunar New Year promotions, driving consumption among local citizens and tourists, as well as boosting business revenue for merchants. She also added that New Town Plaza will launch five major festive activities for the upcoming Lantern Festival and Valentine's Day, including the Lantern Festival exclusive activity "Guess the Lantern Riddles," "Couple Portrait Sketching," and "Romantic Love Song Performance," hoping to further enhance foot traffic and consumer spending in the mall. On the other hand, to encourage citizens to spend locally during the Lunar New Year holiday, New Town Plaza has launched the "Spring Shopping Rewards" and "Lunar New Year Exclusive Spending Rewards" to attract citizens to dine in the mall and enjoy festive films at Movie Town.
