# Gold prices fell by 1%, and gold and silver mining stocks generally declined, with Coeur Mining dropping over 3%, while copper mining ETFs rose by 2.7%

Spot gold fell 1.0% during the day, reported at $2838.44 per ounce. COMEX silver futures fell 2.5% during the day, reported at $32.15 per ounce.

EGO fell 10.5%, Coeur Mining fell 3.3%, Hecla Mining fell 1.68%, silver ETF fell 1.47%, Pan American Silver fell 1.36%, gold ETF fell 0.85%, Newmont Mining and gold stock ETF fell 0.76%.

It is worth mentioning that most copper mining concept stocks rose, with HBM up 2.83%, Lundin Mining up 2.7%, copper mining ETF up 2.68%, Vale ADR, Southern Copper Corporation, Rio Tinto ADR, and Freeport at least up 2%, while the U.S. Copper Index ETF fell 0.47%, and MUX fell 2.77%
