# Meineng Energy's wholly-owned subsidiary recognized as a high-tech enterprise

According to the announcement from Meinen Energy (001299.SZ), its wholly-owned subsidiary Shaanxi Meinen New Energy Co., Ltd. (referred to as "Meinen New Energy") has recently received the "High-tech Enterprise Certificate" issued jointly by the Shaanxi Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, the Shaanxi Provincial Department of Finance, and the State Taxation Administration Shaanxi Provincial Taxation Bureau (Certificate No.: GR202461001745, Issuance Date: December 3, 2024, Validity Period: three years).

This is the first time Meinen New Energy has passed the national high-tech enterprise certification. According to the "Enterprise Income Tax Law of the People's Republic of China" and the "Administrative Measures for the Recognition of High-tech Enterprises" and other relevant regulations, Meinen New Energy will enjoy the national preferential tax policy for high-tech enterprises for three consecutive years (from 2024 to 2026), paying corporate income tax at a rate of 15%
