# The medical insurance department will regularly disclose the "financial status" of medical institutions

Yesterday, under the guidance of the National Healthcare Security Administration, Hefei City in Anhui Province held a targeted release event for healthcare insurance data. In the future, healthcare insurance departments in various regions will regularly disclose healthcare insurance data to designated medical institutions in their respective areas, clarifying the "financial status" of the healthcare insurance fund, promoting information sharing in the fields of healthcare, insurance, and pharmaceuticals, improving the efficiency of healthcare insurance fund usage, and safeguarding fund security. According to the work plan, healthcare insurance departments in various regions will publish healthcare insurance data to all designated medical institutions in their areas on a monthly or quarterly basis, and all regions across the country are required to publish healthcare insurance data at least once by March 31, 2025
