# MIDLAND HOLDING: If the Hong Kong "Budget" brings positive news, the property market is expected to embark on a new wave of growth

After the Lunar New Year, developers will launch new projects, enhancing the purchasing power of second-hand properties. This weekend, the number of appointments for property viewings in residential areas of Hong Kong and Kowloon, as well as the New Territories, has increased. If the "Budget" brings positive news, the property market is expected to embark on a new wave of growth

According to the Zhitong Finance APP, the Chief Executive of the Residential Department of Midland Realty, Bu Shaoming, stated that the market is looking forward to Hong Kong's new budget, which is expected to introduce measures to revitalize the economy and bring positive stimulation to the property market. Moreover, after the Lunar New Year, developers are seizing the opportunity to launch new projects, adding a lively atmosphere to the property market and stimulating the release of second-hand purchasing power. This weekend, the number of scheduled viewings in key residential areas of Hong Kong and Kowloon, as well as the New Territories, has recorded an increase across the board. If the budget brings positive news, it is expected to initiate a new wave of growth in the property market.

As the festive factors fade, new projects are gradually emerging, boosting the atmosphere of the property market. This weekend, the number of scheduled viewings in four key residential areas in the Hong Kong Island region has further increased week-on-week, recording about 96 groups, which is an increase of approximately 12.9% compared to last weekend.

Ye Zhiwei, Assistant Sales Director of the flagship store at Beisha Bay in the Southern District of Midland Realty, stated that there have been about 5 transactions recorded at the Peninsula this month, and about 2 transactions at the Harmony Garden so far this month. The scheduled viewing activities in the residential area this weekend are steadily increasing, with an increase of about 15% compared to last weekend.

In the Kowloon area, the number of scheduled viewings in seven key residential areas this weekend is recorded at about 153 groups, an increase of approximately 20.5% compared to 127 groups last weekend.

In the New Territories, the number of scheduled viewings in four key residential areas this weekend has increased by about 4% week-on-week, recording about 130 groups. Zhang Zijian, Co-Director of the Tin Shui Wai area at Midland Realty, stated that as the festive factors of the Lunar New Year gradually fade, the number of scheduled viewings at the Jiahu Mountain Villa this weekend recorded about 50 groups, an increase of approximately 11.1% week-on-week.

Additionally, this weekend, Shatin First City recorded about 55 groups of scheduled viewings, an increase of about 10% week-on-week
