The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and eight other departments issued the "Action Plan for High-Quality Development of New Energy Storage Manufacturing Industry," actively encouraging the exploration of reasonable allocation of new energy storage in thermal power generation and supporting the development of new energy storage for peak shaving, frequency regulation, and other multi-scenario applications. Promote the construction of friendly new energy power stations integrating new energy storage and intelligent control methods. For regions rich in new energy such as deserts, gobi, and wastelands with low local consumption capacity, support new energy storage to support large-scale consumption of renewable energy. Accelerate the promotion of shared storage to enhance the auxiliary service capacity of energy storage for the power system. Encourage new energy storage to participate in the electricity market as an independent storage entity. Accelerate the promotion of grid-type energy storage applications to enhance the support capacity of new energy storage for the stable operation of the power system, and accelerate the promotion of alternative energy storage in areas with tight land resources or remote locations to alleviate the investment pressure on transmission and transformation, and enhance the power supply capacity at the end of the grid
