# The Economic and People's Association submitted 20 proposals to the National Two Sessions advocating for the relaxation of entry barriers for Hong Kong film and television workers to the mainland

The Hong Kong representatives of the Economic and Trade Alliance and members of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference will submit more than twenty proposals and suggestions to the upcoming National Two Sessions next month.

Lin Jianyue, a standing committee member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and chairman of the supervisory board of the Economic and Trade Alliance, proposed to deepen film and television cooperation in the Greater Bay Area and to establish Hong Kong as an international film and television capital. Measures include further relaxing the threshold for Hong Kong filmmakers to develop in the mainland; he also stated that Hong Kong should be developed into a "foreign circulation" pivot for the national cross-border e-commerce industry, with measures including optimizing the trade environment, reducing cross-border logistics costs, and striving for same-day delivery in the Hong Kong and Macau regions.

Hong Kong representative and Legislative Council member Wu Yongjia stated that the global trade environment is constantly changing, and more and more mainland enterprises hope to use Hong Kong as a value-added service platform for "going global." He suggested that relevant mainland departments actively support mainland enterprises in viewing Hong Kong as the preferred command center and simplify the business filing process and foreign exchange controls.

Other suggestions and proposals include establishing a "Mainland Travel Permit for Overseas Chinese" and continuing to promote Hong Kong's early accession to the RCEP.

In addition, the Economic and Trade Alliance proposed a joint proposal signed by more than a dozen standing committee members and political consultative committee members, suggesting fully utilizing the advantages of the Hengqin Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone to create a large-scale national aerospace education base, strengthening aerospace, technology, and patriotic education for Hong Kong and Macau students, and becoming an important platform for enhancing national identity among young people in Hong Kong and Macau.

National Committee member and vice chairman of the supervisory board of the Economic and Trade Alliance, Hu Jianjiang, explained that the cooperation zone has resources from the Zhuhai Airshow, which has a long history. It considers the resource matching between mainland youth, enterprises, and international governments, and is geographically well-suited
