# Samsung's wafer foundry will use EUV mask protective film from Mitsui Chemicals

On February 26th, it was reported that Samsung Electronics' foundry business will purchase EUV mask protective film worth billions of Korean won from Mitsui Chemicals, as chip manufacturers seek to improve the production efficiency of ultra-fine processing. After final testing, Samsung will use EUV mask protective film for mass production on its 3-nanometer wafer foundry production line at the S3 factory in Hwaseong, South Korea
