\[Sun Yuchen wins defamation case, receives apology from Sina and 31,338 yuan in compensation\] On February 27, news broke that Sun Yuchen announced on social media that he had won his defamation lawsuit against Sina. The Beijing Internet Court ruled in favor of Sun Yuchen on December 31, 2024, determining that the article previously published by Sina titled "Sun Yuchen suspected of insider trading, FBI and IRS have launched investigations" constituted defamation. Sina issued a public apology on February 7, 2025, and chose not to appeal on February 26, having paid 31,338 yuan in compensation
