# February 28th Midday Review: ChiNext Index Drops Over 2% in Half a Day, Robotics and Computing Concept Stocks Plummet

The market experienced fluctuations and adjustments in the morning, with the ChiNext Index falling over 2%. Oil and gas stocks strengthened against the trend, with QianNeng HengXin and ZhunYou Co., Ltd. hitting the daily limit. Liquor stocks saw a rebound, with Shanghai Guijiu and Hainan Yedao also hitting the daily limit. On the downside, robotics concept stocks adjusted across the board, with ZhongDa LiDe, JieChang Drive, and ZhaoWei Electromechanical among several stocks hitting the daily limit; computing power concept stocks declined, with YunCong Technology, Hongxin Electronics, and TongNiu Information dropping over 10%. Most individual stocks fell rather than rose, with over 4,300 stocks in the Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Beijing markets showing losses, and a total transaction volume of 1.15 trillion in the morning session. At the midday close, the Shanghai Composite Index fell 0.88%, the Shenzhen Component Index fell 1.37%, and the ChiNext Index fell 2.07%
