March 4th Midday Review: The ChiNext Index fell nearly 1% in half a day, while the robotics and military sectors surged against the trend
The market opened lower in the morning and then fluctuated upward, with the Shanghai Composite Index and Shenzhen Component Index turning positive during the session, while the ChiNext Index showed weaker performance. Robotics concept stocks surged against the trend, with stocks such as Zhao Wei Electromechanical, Zhiwei Intelligent, Wanma Co., Ltd., Hangzhou Gear, and Xiangyang Bearing hitting the daily limit. The military industry sector collectively strengthened, with stocks like Beihua Co., Ltd., New Era Equipment, Lihang Technology, and Longxi Co., Ltd. also hitting the daily limit. On the downside, solid-state battery concept stocks faced adjustments, with SXXC hitting the daily limit down, and Dare Auto and others falling over 10%. More stocks rose than fell, with over 3,200 stocks in the Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Beijing markets in the green, and a total turnover of 878.3 billion in the morning session. At the midday close, the Shanghai Composite Index fell 0.01%, the Shenzhen Component Index fell 0.15%, and the ChiNext Index fell 0.94%
