# C VOCATIONAL ED plans to be renamed as "China Science and Education Industry"

According to the announcement from China Vocational Education (01756), following the special resolution passed by shareholders at the annual general meeting on January 17, 2025, the Cayman Islands Registrar of Companies issued a certificate of change of company name on January 28, 2025, confirming that the company has changed its English name from "China Vocational Education Holdings Limited" to "China Science and Education Industry Group Limited," and its Chinese dual foreign name from "中国职业教育控股有限公司" to "中国科教产业集团有限公司，" both effective from January 17, 2025. The Hong Kong Companies Registry also issued a certificate of registration of change of name for non-Hong Kong companies on February 21, 2025, confirming the company's new English name and new Chinese dual foreign name registered in Hong Kong under Section 16 of the Companies Ordinance (Cap. 622 of the Laws of Hong Kong).

The English stock short name for trading on the Main Board of the Stock Exchange will change from "C VOCATIONAL ED" to "CHI SCI&EDU IND," and the Chinese stock short name will change from "中国职业教育" to "中国科教产业，" effective from 9:00 AM on March 11, 2025. The company's stock code remains "1756."
