The Nasdaq 100 Index fell 2.27%, hitting a new daily low. Component stock MongoDB dropped 23.4%, Marvell Tech fell 18%, AppLovin decreased by 11.5%, Palantir declined by 6.8%, making it the fourth largest drop, Tesla fell 5.3%, and NVIDIA dropped 4.3%.
The S&P 500 Index fell 1.59%, and the Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 414 points, a decrease of 0.96%; the Nasdaq Composite Index saw an intraday decline of 2.0%, closing at 18,175.40 points. The Philadelphia Semiconductor Index also saw its decline expand to 3.85%.
