# Bank of America expects there will be 3 billion humanoid robots globally by 2060

\[Hong Kong Economic Journal\] Bank of America expects the humanoid robot market to grow rapidly, with sales expected to reach 1 million units by 2030, and by 2060, there will be 3 billion humanoid robots globally.

Bank of America pointed out that with the popularization of artificial intelligence (AI), 3D printing technology, and the reduction in hardware costs, the humanoid robot market will develop rapidly, with unit costs significantly decreasing from USD 35,000 in 2025 to only USD 17,000 by 2030. As a result, they will be widely applied in various fields, with the United States and China being the countries that most extensively use humanoid robots.

Bank of America's analysis team estimates that Tesla, NVIDIA, and Meta will all benefit from this trend
