# M&L HOLDINGS issued a profit warning, expecting an annual loss of approximately HKD 13.4 million, a year-on-year turnaround from profit to loss

According to the announcement from M&L HOLDINGS (08152), the group estimates a loss of approximately HKD 13.4 million for the year ending December 31, 2024, compared to a profit of HKD 9.4 million for the year ending December 31, 2023. The board believes that the expected loss for this year is primarily due to a decrease in revenue of approximately HKD 86 million or 56.0%, which is mainly attributed to a client delaying orders for tunnel-related products based on the actual progress of relevant engineering projects, as well as a relatively large project being substantially completed this year and contributing less revenue
