Today, the term "Xiaomi staff said the SU7 has a wrong connector" trended on social media. The incident originated from a Xiaomi SU7 owner who posted on a social platform on March 10, stating that while driving, the vehicle suddenly experienced what appeared to be a brake failure, followed by multiple abnormal messages on the screen such as "Braking performance limited, please drive carefully," "Forward collision avoidance assistance limited, please drive carefully," "Automatic parking performance limited," and "Hill assist function abnormal." The owner claimed that after the incident, Xiaomi staff responded that the car had a connector incorrectly installed at the factory, and it could be fixed by simply reconnecting it. Regarding the owner's request for a refund, the staff stated, "The car does not meet the conditions for a refund and cannot be returned." On the afternoon of March 12, regarding the issue of the Xiaomi SU7 having a wrong connector, Wang Hua, General Manager of the Public Relations Department of Xiaomi Group, responded on Weibo that they were looking into the situation.
