# Building a "Vertical Growth Pole" for the Building Economy, Shanghai Suhe Bay generated tax revenue of 1 billion yuan from 20 buildings last year

On March 11, the Shanghai Jing'an Suhe Bay Functional Area 2025 Cooperation Development Conference and Integrated Investment Promotion Service Work Meeting was held. By the end of 2024, the Shanghai Jing'an Suhe Bay has accumulated a total of 11,720 enterprises, with 1,160 new market entities added. In the past two years, 551 enterprises have continuously expanded in scale; there are 22 multinational regional headquarters or headquarters-type enterprises in the area, including Astrazeneca, Pfizer, Da Bang Management, and Vale, which have settled in key buildings of the functional area. The headquarters cluster and industrial gradient coexist, and ecological collaboration attracts more upstream and downstream enterprises to settle in. (The Paper)
