# DTPC released its 2024 annual performance, turning from profit to a loss of 146 million yuan

According to the Zhitong Finance APP, Dalian Thermal Power (600719.SH) released its annual report for 2024. During the reporting period, the company achieved operating revenue of 629 million yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 0.64%. The net loss attributable to shareholders of the listed company was 146 million yuan. The net loss attributable to shareholders of the listed company, excluding non-recurring gains and losses, was 148 million yuan, a year-on-year reduction in loss of 37.62%. The basic loss per share was 0.361 yuan.

During the reporting period, the company completed an on-grid electricity generation of 146.79 million kilowatt-hours, a year-on-year decrease of 5.96 million kilowatt-hours, a decline of 3.9%. The steam sales volume was 21,000 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 101,000 tons, a decline of 82.5%; the sales volume of high-temperature water was 1.405 million gigajoules, a year-on-year increase of 288,000 gigajoules, an increase of 25.8%. The main reason for the decrease in on-grid electricity generation was the implementation of measures such as heat-based electricity generation and power supply restrictions. The decline in steam sales and the increase in high-temperature water sales were mainly due to the promotion of converting steam to water in the main urban area, leading to an increase in high-temperature water sales
