According to the Zhitong Finance APP, Asia Energy Logistics (00351) announced its 2024 performance, with revenue from continuing operations amounting to HKD 48.142 million, a year-on-year decrease of 49.12%; the loss attributable to shareholders was HKD 30.185 million, turning from profit to loss year-on-year; the loss per share was HKD 1.51.

The announcement stated that the revenue decrease was mainly due to the renewal of charter contracts at lower charter rates and a decrease in revenue from telecommunications-related businesses. The increase in losses was primarily due to reduced profits from shipping and logistics operations caused by lower renewal charter rates; the sale of vessels; and changes in the fair value of financial assets measured at fair value through profit or loss
