# 2025 iQIYI Micro-Short Drama Forum: Creating Diverse Masterpieces through the Integration of Long and Short Formats, Exploring Quality Development through an Open Ecosystem

> The 2025 iQIYI Micro-Short Drama Forum was held on March 14 in Suzhou, announcing the International Micro-Short Drama Competition. iQIYI CEO Gong Yu emphasized that building a "long + short" content ecosystem is a development strategy, committed to enhancing the aesthetics and value of micro-short dramas, and utilizing AI and virtual filming technology to improve production quality. At the same time, iQIYI launched a new cooperation plan to explore the refined development of micro-short dramas, aiming to provide viewers with higher quality content

On March 14th, iQIYI's Fluorescent Night - 2025 Micro Short Drama Festival was held in Suzhou. At the event, the "Chasing Light Plan" International Micro Short Drama Competition was officially announced by Beijing Da Shiting. iQIYI founder and CEO Gong Yu stated in his speech: "Building a 'long + short' content ecosystem is iQIYI's firm development strategy." He proposed that iQIYI will continue to enhance the aesthetics and value connotation of micro short drama works, fully utilizing artificial intelligence and virtual filming technology to improve the production level of micro short dramas. At the forum, iQIYI launched a new cooperation plan based on the existing "Thousand Quality Micro Dramas Plan" and "Hundred Quality Short Dramas Plan," aiming to explore more possibilities for the refined development of micro short dramas in collaboration with partners, creating higher quality content for viewers
