On March 17th, in response to online rumors, Baidu Vice President Xie Guangjun publicly apologized on WeChat Moments, expressing deep remorse. He stated that he had seriously criticized his daughter's behavior and sincerely apologized to all affected friends. The following is the full response: Recently, my 13-year-old daughter got into an argument online, and in a moment of emotional loss of control, she posted others' private information from overseas social media on her own account, which led to her personal information being exposed as well, resulting in a spread of negative comments. As a father, I feel deeply remorseful for not being able to notice and guide her to handle the situation correctly in a timely manner, and for not teaching her to respect and protect the privacy of others and herself. In response to this incident, I have communicated with my daughter and seriously criticized her behavior. Here, I also sincerely apologize to all affected friends. As a minor, my daughter's mental maturity is not yet developed, and she made a wrong decision in a moment of impulse, hurting others while also bearing pressure and harm far beyond her age due to this incident. I kindly ask everyone to stop spreading related content and give her some space to correct and grow. I apologize again and thank everyone for their understanding and kindness
