# CHML plans to establish a smart home appliance company and participate in the bidding for an industrial land in Mianyang, Sichuan

According to the announcement from Changhong Meiling (000521.SZ), in response to the company's operational development needs and to meet the strategic development requirements of its washing machine industry, the company and its subsidiary Mianyang Meiling Refrigeration Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Mianyang Meiling") will invest a total of 500 million yuan from their own funds to establish a subsidiary named Smart Home Appliances Company. The company will contribute 495 million yuan, holding a 99% equity stake, while Mianyang Meiling will contribute 5 million yuan, holding a 1% equity stake. The Smart Home Appliances Company will participate in the bidding for an industrial land located in the Fuxin Community of Songya Town, Mianyang Economic and Technological Development Zone, Sichuan Province, with a land area of approximately 205.11 acres, and the total authorized bidding price will not exceed 59.5 million yuan.

The industrial land being bid for will be used for the construction of the Mianyang washing machine project, aiming to expand the production capacity of washing machines and address the future capacity gap in the washing machine industry. After the project is put into production, the dual-base production model in Hefei and Mianyang will fully leverage regional advantages to achieve rapid and agile product supply, forming a domestic sales network centered around Chengdu and Mianyang, radiating to the southwestern and northwestern regional markets, while also expanding exports to rapidly growing markets in Europe and Central Asia, achieving a geographical matching advantage between sales and production, further deepening and expanding the scale of core market, enhancing the market competitiveness of the washing machine industry, and promoting the sustainable development of the washing machine industry
