# U.S. stock market early trading: The three major indices slightly declined, Intel rose over 3%

U.S. retail sales in February increased by 0.2% month-on-month, which was below expectations. The Nasdaq fell 0.17% in early trading, the S&P 500 index dropped 0.13%, and the Dow Jones decreased by 0.17%.
