# NVIDIA's next-generation AI chip architecture is named Feynman: named after physicist Richard Feynman, set to debut in 2028

At the NVIDIA GTC 2025 conference, NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang announced in a roadmap PPT that the next generation after Rubin is named Feynman, after the famous physicist Richard Feynman. Richard Phillips Feynman (May 11, 1918 – February 15, 1988) was an American theoretical physicist known for his work on the path integral formulation of quantum mechanics, quantum electrodynamics, superfluidity of liquid helium, and research on particle physics models. For his contributions to quantum electrodynamics, Feynman was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1965 along with Julian Schwinger and Tomonaga Shinichiro. According to NVIDIA's roadmap, the Feynman architecture will debut in 2028. (IT Home)
