According to Zhitong Finance APP, LAOPU GOLD (06181) has risen over 7% again, with a current increase of 7.45%, priced at HKD 779, and a transaction volume of HKD 504 million.

On the news front, LAOPU GOLD plans to hold a board meeting on March 31 to approve its annual performance. The company previously issued a profit warning, expecting a net profit of approximately RMB 1.4 billion to RMB 1.5 billion for the entire year of 2024, representing a year-on-year growth of about 236% to 260%. This is mainly attributed to steady growth in same-store sales last year, the opening of seven new stores, and the upgrade and renovation of four existing boutique stores. In addition, LAOPU GOLD's first overseas store has completed site selection and is under renovation, located in the Marina Bay Sands shopping center in Singapore.

Morgan Stanley released a research report stating that LAOPU GOLD's current stock price already reflects the company's network expansion to 55-60 malls by 2029, with a projected compound annual growth rate of 10% for same-store sales from 2024 to 2029. The firm pointed out that, based on estimates, LAOPU GOLD's current stock price corresponds to a 34 times price-to-earnings ratio for 2025, while the average price-to-earnings ratio for domestic jewelry brands is 11 times. Considering that the company's brand is still in the early stages of customer recruitment and the macro environment is favorable, they believe the risk-reward is reasonable.
