# The chairman of Standard Chartered Bank will be succeeded by Chen Mingqiao

> Standard Chartered Bank announced that Chen Mingqiao will take over as chairman, and this appointment is subject to approval by the regulatory authorities. The board unanimously approved the appointment on the 18th, marking another change in the chairman position following last year's change of CEO from Han Desheng to Xing Baoli

Standard Chartered Bank announced on the 19th that there will be a change in the chairman in Taiwan, with the board recently approving the election of Chen Mingqiao as chairman. This personnel appointment still requires approval from the regulatory authority. At the board meeting of Standard Chartered Bank on the 18th, all attending directors unanimously approved the election of Chen Mingqiao as chairman.

Last year, there was a change in the general manager of Standard Chartered Bank, with Han Desheng (Ian Charles Anderson) being replaced by Xing Baoli. This year, the chairman position will also see a change, with Hsuan Hui-yi being succeeded by Chen Mingqiao. Standard Chartered Bank pointed out that this personnel matter was unanimously approved by all attending directors at the 21st board meeting on March 18, and this appointment is pending approval from the regulatory authority
