# Midday Review: The index fluctuated weakly in the morning, while the deep-sea technology concept strengthened against the trend

The index showed weak fluctuations in the morning session, with the North Exchange 50 rising nearly 1% against the trend. In terms of sectors, the marine engineering equipment sector continued to rise, with ZPMC and Dalian Heavy Industry hitting the daily limit; the integrated die-casting sector strengthened, with JINFEI KAIDA and Chunxing Precision Mechanical both hitting the daily limit; resource stocks were active in the morning, with coal stocks leading the gains, including Shaanxi Black Cat, Antai Group, and Liaoning Energy hitting the daily limit; insurance stocks fluctuated lower, with New China Life Insurance and Ping An Insurance leading the declines; liquor stocks adjusted weakly, with Jinshiyuan leading the drop; the pharmaceutical sector collectively weakened, with Oriental Bio and Saily Medical leading the declines. Overall, more stocks rose than fell, with over 3,300 stocks increasing. As of the midday close, the Shanghai Composite Index was at 3,424.16 points, down 0.07%; the Shenzhen Component Index was at 10,965.80 points, down 0.12%; and the ChiNext Index was at 2,219.20 points, down 0.14%. On the market, wind power equipment, marine engineering equipment, and China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation sectors had the largest gains, while insurance, liquor, and gaming sectors had the largest declines
