# WING FUNG GROUP announced its 2024 performance, with a net profit of HKD 1.073 million, turning a profit compared to the same period last year

According to the Zhitong Finance APP, WING FUNG GROUP (08526) announced its 2024 performance, with revenue of approximately HKD 177 million, an increase of about 54.3% year-on-year; net profit of HKD 1.073 million, turning a profit from a loss year-on-year; and earnings per share of HKD 0.66.

The announcement stated that the turnaround to profit was mainly due to increased revenue; better cost control during the relevant period; a reversal of impairment losses on trade receivables and contract assets of approximately HKD 3.7 million during the relevant period; and no write-off of contract assets during the relevant period, whereas in the 2023 fiscal year, a write-off of contract assets of approximately HKD 11.2 million was recognized
