# Liu Qiangdong's WeChat Moments statement, JD.com responds: it's true

On the afternoon of March 21, news emerged that Liu Qiangdong, the founder of JD.com, posted on his social media: "Long time no see, friends! Last year was the most fulfilling time in my 20 years of entrepreneurship. Because over 1,200 delivery brothers have retired. They all receive: a one-time withdrawal of hundreds of thousands from their housing fund + an average monthly pension of 5,350 yuan + full medical insurance coverage! Looking back to 2007 when we hired our first delivery brother, I said we must fully contribute to the five insurances and one fund to ensure they have adequate protection after retirement. That year, we only had 30 million in revenue and were struggling for survival every day!" In response, a relevant person from JD.com confirmed the authenticity of the statement.
