# CPEP plans to increase capital to Hainan Company by acquiring 100% equity of the development company

According to the Zhitong Finance APP, CPEP (000544.SZ) announced that in order to achieve resource sharing, technological cooperation, and market synergy, strengthen the competitiveness of advantageous business areas, enhance the management system, and form a more robust business structure, it plans to increase the capital of its wholly-owned subsidiary CPEP Development Co., Ltd. (referred to as "Development Company") to 100% equity of its wholly-owned subsidiary CPEP (Hainan) Co., Ltd. (referred to as "Hainan Company"). The capital increase will be conducted at a consideration based on the book net value of the equity held by the company in the Development Company, which is 44.2486 million yuan. After the capital increase is completed, the Hainan Company will acquire 100% equity of the Development Company, and the scope of the company's consolidated financial statements will not change
