# Xizang Weixinkang Pharmaceutical: Clinical trial approval for Ketoprofen patch medication

According to the Zhitong Finance APP, Xizang Weixinkang Pharmaceutical (603676.SH) announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary Inner Mongolia Baiyi Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. ("Baiyi Pharmaceutical") has received the "Approval Notice for Clinical Trials of Drugs" for Ketorolac patches issued by the National Medical Products Administration. After review, the clinical trial application for Ketorolac patches accepted on January 8, 2025, meets the relevant requirements for drug registration, and approval has been granted for the analgesic clinical trial.

As of now, there are no approved Ketorolac patches on the market in China. Currently, only Hunan Jiudian Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. has completed clinical trials for Ketorolac patches, but has not applied for production; besides the company's wholly-owned subsidiary Baiyi Pharmaceutical, there are two other companies that have received approval for clinical trials: Shenzhen PharmaEasy Pharmaceutical Technology Co., Ltd. and Hebei Yipin Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd
