SOUTH CHINA FIN released its annual performance for the year ending December 31, 2024, reporting a loss attributable to equity holders of HKD 295 million, an increase of 112.43% year-on-year. Revenue from continuing operations was HKD 36.799 million, a decrease of 14.08% year-on-year. The decline in revenue was mainly due to a decrease in income from the asset and wealth management segment, while income from margin financing, property investment, and corporate consulting segments increased

According to the Zhitong Finance APP, South China Financial (00619) announced its full-year results for the year ending December 31, 2024, with revenue from continuing operations of HKD 36.799 million, a year-on-year decrease of 14.08%; loss attributable to equity holders of HKD 295 million, a year-on-year increase of 112.43%; basic loss per share of HKD 0.979.

The announcement stated that the revenue decline was mainly due to the annual revenue from the asset and wealth management segment decreasing from HKD 11 million last year to HKD 2.8 million in 2024. The increase in revenue from margin financing and credit borrowing, property investment, and corporate consulting and underwriting segments offset the decline in revenue from the brokerage, trading, and investment segments
