Apple Intelligence opens up to more regions, supporting Chinese and other languages, making its debut on Vision Pro

Apple Inc. (AAPL) announced that Apple Intelligence is officially opening up to more users worldwide, no longer limited to early users in the US and UK, including iPhone and iPad users in the European Union, providing a range of AI-assisted capabilities covering text creation, image generation, and smart notifications, and supporting multiple languages including Simplified Chinese. At the same time, Apple Intelligence makes its debut on Apple Vision Pro. As a result of the news, the stock rose nearly 2% to $222.13 on Monday.

## Launched simultaneously with iOS 18.4 and others

According to media reports, this update from Apple is launched simultaneously with iOS 18.4, iPadOS 18.4, and macOS Sequoia 15.4. Starting from Monday, Apple Intelligence officially supports multiple languages including Simplified Chinese, French, German, Italian, Portuguese (Brazil), Spanish, Japanese, and Korean, and provides localized English versions for Singapore and India.

## Adhering to a "Privacy First" technological path

Apple emphasizes that one of the key features of Apple Intelligence is its adherence to a "Privacy First" technological path in the AI era, with a large amount of computation performed on-device, while complex instructions requiring more powerful computing capabilities are processed through "Private Cloud Compute" technology, all encrypted to ensure that user data is not used for model training or stored by third parties.
