# Qualcomm launches Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor

> Qualcomm officially launched the fourth-generation Snapdragon 8s Gen4 mobile processor on April 2, primarily targeting the mid-range smartphone market. Several smartphone OEM manufacturers, such as REDMI, iQOO, Xiaomi, OPPO, and Meizu, will release new models equipped with this processor in the coming months. The new processor uses TSMC's 4nm process, with Kryo CPU performance improved by 31% compared to the previous generation, Andreno GPU performance increased by 49%, and GPU energy efficiency enhanced by 39%

On April 2nd, Qualcomm officially announced the fourth-generation Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 mobile processor, which is mainly used in mid-range smartphone models. Several smartphone OEM manufacturers, including REDMI, iQOO, Xiaomi, OPPO, and Meizu, will launch new products equipped with the fourth-generation Snapdragon 8s in the coming months. According to official information, the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor chip primarily utilizes TSMC's 4-nanometer process technology. The Kryo CPU configuration offers a 31% performance improvement over the previous generation, while the Qualcomm Adreno GPU performance has increased by 49%, and GPU energy efficiency has improved by 39%
