# White Paper: Both China and the United States should respect each other's core interests and major concerns, and find proper solutions to problems through dialogue and consultation

On April 9th, Jin10 Data reported that the State Council Information Office released a white paper titled "China's Position on Certain Issues in China-U.S. Economic and Trade Relations." The white paper stated that China has always believed that the essence of China-U.S. economic and trade relations is mutual benefit and win-win cooperation. As two major countries at different stages of development and with different economic systems, it is normal for China and the U.S. to encounter differences and frictions in economic and trade cooperation. The key is to respect each other's core interests and major concerns and to find proper solutions to problems through dialogue and consultation.
