# SANQUAN FOODS: Termination of external investment in the construction of the new SANQUAN FOODS base project

According to the Zhitong Finance APP, SANQUAN FOODS (002216.SZ) announced that the company previously chose to build a new base project in the Zhengzhou Airport Economic Comprehensive Experimental Zone, mainly considering that according to the urban development planning requirements of Zhengzhou at that time, the company's production base located in the main urban area might face relocation. Initiating the new base project was a reserve for the relocation while meeting the demand for new production capacity. However, based on the current adjustments in urban planning, the urgency for relocating the existing base has decreased. Additionally, due to the numerous projects landing in the Zhengzhou Airport Economic Comprehensive Experimental Zone and the tight land supply, the company has decided to suspend the implementation of the new base project.

In recent years, the production bases built by the company in Wuhan, Suzhou, Tianjin, Foshan, Chengdu, and other places have optimized their designs, adjusting the originally planned single-story factory buildings to multi-story structures, greatly improving land utilization and the efficiency of factory space usage. Currently, both completed and unfinished bases have certain production capacity reserves.

In light of the above reasons, the company agrees to terminate the external investment in the construction of the new SANQUAN FOODS base project, and its wholly-owned subsidiary Zhengzhou Quanjia will sign the "State-owned Land Acquisition Contract" with the Land Reserve Center of the Zhengzhou Airport Economic Comprehensive Experimental Zone
