# Yonz: The groundbreaking ceremony for the 100GW photovoltaic aluminum frame project at the Baotou base was held and construction will commence soon

According to the Zhitong Finance APP, Yonz (603381.SH) announced that it will hold the 14th meeting of the first board of directors and the first extraordinary general meeting of shareholders in 2024 on January 20 and February 5, respectively. The meetings approved the proposal on external investment to establish a wholly-owned subsidiary, agreeing to invest in the construction of a 100GW photovoltaic aluminum frame project (hereinafter referred to as the "Baotou Base") in Donghe District, Baotou City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.

The Baotou Base held its groundbreaking ceremony on April 15, 2025, and is currently actively preparing for various matters before construction. After completing the relevant construction procedures in the coming days, it will officially commence construction, planning to build a production line for photovoltaic aluminum frames with an annual output of 100GW, warehouses, and supporting public facilities, as well as an aluminum alloy new material melting capacity of 600,000 tons per year, with a total planned investment of approximately 3.5 billion yuan.

The company has registered the project platform company Yonz Investment (Inner Mongolia) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the "platform company") to promote the overall construction of the Baotou Base, while establishing various subsidiaries as specific project companies to implement the project, namely Yonz New Materials (Baotou) Co., Ltd., Yonz Industrial Technology (Baotou) Co., Ltd., and Yonz Power (Baotou) Co., Ltd. All three companies are wholly-owned subsidiaries of the project platform company. Among them, Yonz New Materials (Baotou) Co., Ltd. is mainly responsible for the research and development, melting, and manufacturing processes of new materials, providing raw materials and industrial support for photovoltaic aluminum frames and the group's new material development; Yonz Industrial Technology (Baotou) Co., Ltd. is responsible for the extrusion, oxidation, deep processing, and various manufacturing processes of photovoltaic aluminum frames; Yonz Power (Baotou) Co., Ltd. is responsible for the development, construction, and operation of photovoltaic power stations according to the relevant investment policies and supporting indicators for the project
