# SUCCESSUNIVERSE expects over 90% hotel booking rate for its hotels during the May Day holiday

SUCCESSUNIVERSE (00487.HK) Vice Chairman Ma Haowen stated that the hotel under the group in Macau currently has a booking rate of about 60%, similar to last year. Room prices have been adjusted downwards by about 10% year-on-year, influenced mainly by increased supply and the economic environment, ranging from 1,600 to 1,800 yuan.

He mentioned that travelers visiting Macau generally book hotels only a week before the May Day holiday, and he believes the booking rate could exceed 90%.

However, he pointed out that consumer confidence is generally low due to the trade war. Although foot traffic has not decreased, per capita spending may decline. He expects the gaming revenue during the May Day holiday to remain flat, likely fluctuating in the low single digits, depending on the impact of tariffs on the economy and the effect of the RMB exchange rate on the spending power of mainland travelers
