# One of Wall Street's biggest bulls: What are the conditions for "the return of U.S. stocks"?

Deutsche Bank's strategy team has always been one of the most bullish teams on Wall Street regarding U.S. stocks, but recently they have also lowered their target price for the S&P 500.

In their research report, Deutsche Bank still considers a new high for U.S. stocks by the end of the year as the baseline scenario, but this is contingent on a significant slowdown in trade policies.

They believe this requires a substantial drop in Trump's approval rating, for example, to around 35%, which would force a change in trade policies.
