Yasheng Group announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Gansu Yasheng Tianyuan Agricultural Development Co., Ltd., plans to invest 591 million yuan to construct an integrated project for sugar beet biological breeding and planting processing. The project includes the construction of a new production line for processing 4,000 tons of sugar beets per day and a deep processing line for by-products, a new research and development center, production processing plant, storage, boiler room, and other main facilities and supporting production auxiliary facilities and equipment, as well as the establishment of one sugar beet biological breeding laboratory and one sugar beet germplasm resource nursery and seed breeding base.
