Yasheng Group announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Gansu Yasheng Tianyuan Agricultural Development Co., Ltd., plans to invest 591 million yuan to construct an integrated project for sugar beet biological breeding and planting processing. The project includes the construction of a new production line for processing 4,000 tons of sugar beets per day and a deep processing line for by-products, a new research and development center, production processing plant, storage, boiler room, and other main facilities and supporting production auxiliary facilities and equipment, as well as the establishment of one sugar beet biological breeding laboratory and one sugar beet germplasm resource nursery and seed breeding base. The implementation of the project is beneficial for the company's agricultural planting structure adjustment, optimizing industrial layout, cultivating and developing the sugar beet sugar industry, promoting the integrated development of the company's sugar beet planting and processing, enhancing the added value of agricultural products, and improving the company's industry competitiveness
