Peru makes final anti-dumping ruling on metal tableware from China

On April 27, 2025, the Commission on Dumping, Subsidies, and Elimination of Non-Tariff Trade Barriers of the National Institute for the Defense of Competition and Protection of Intellectual Property of Peru published announcement No. 058-2025/CDB-INDECOPI in the official newspaper "El Peruano," making a final anti-dumping ruling on standard metal cutlery originating from China, with a thickness not exceeding 1.5 millimeters. It was decided to set a minimum price of USD 7.84 per kilogram for the products involved, and an anti-dumping tax of USD 1.88 per kilogram will only be levied when the customs value of the products does not exceed the minimum price. At the same time, the temporary anti-dumping measures established in announcement No. 014-2025/CDB-INDECOPI were revoked. The measures will take effect the day after the announcement is published and will be valid for five years. The Peruvian tax numbers for the products involved are 8211.10.00.00, 8211.91.00.00, 8211.93.90.00, 8215.10.00.00, 8215.20.00.00, 8215.91.00.00, and 8215.99.00.00
