# Serbia's Aerodrom Nikola Tesla Q1 net profit almost triples y/y

BELGRADE (Serbia), May 6 (SeeNews) - Serbia's Aerodrom Nikola Tesla \[BEL:AERO\], the owner of the properties of Belgrade's international airport, said its net profit jumped to 113 million dinars ($1.1 million/964,000 euro) in the first three months of 2025 from 43.6 million dinars in the prior-year period.

Operating revenue rose to 392 million dinars in January-March from 317 million dinars a year earlier, while operating expenses increased to 301 million dinars from 287 million dinars, Aerodrom Nikola Tesla said in a filing with the Belgrade Stock Exchange last week.

Operating profit jumped to almost 91 million dinars from 30 million dinars in January-March 2024. The financial profit also increased, to 18 million dinars from 9.4 million dinars in the reviewed period.

In 2024, the company saw its net profit rise to 287 million dinars from 237 million dinars in 2023.

Aerodrom Nikola Tesla is part of the blue-chip BELEX15 index of the Belgrade bourse. Its shares traded flat at 2,180 dinars by 10:00 CET on Tuesday.

In March 2018, France's Vinci Airports signed a 25-year concession contract with Serbia to take over the operation of the Belgrade airport from Aerodrom Nikola Tesla. The concession process began in December 2018, with Aerodrom Nikola Tesla's main activities mostly shifting to leasing and managing real estate.
