# Elite Color plans to implement a carbon reduction and enhancement transformation project for organic thermal carrier boilers

According to the announcement from Zhitong Finance APP, Elite Color (002998.SZ) plans to implement the "Organic Heat Carrier Boiler Carbon Reduction and Upgrade Project," which intends to replace the existing natural gas boiler with a set of 36 million kcal/h organic heat carrier boiler for heat transfer oil supply, achieving heating and insulation for the polymerization and spinning devices.

The company estimates that the total investment for this project will be 30 million yuan. The project will be constructed on the existing land within the factory area, covering an area of approximately 2,880 square meters, with new buildings such as a control building and a desulfurization process building, totaling approximately 245 square meters of construction area, and will involve equipment foundation modifications.

The announcement indicates that after the implementation of this project, there will be no direct revenue generated, but it is expected to save fuel costs of 23.549 million yuan annually and reduce total cost expenses by 19.8547 million yuan, resulting in an additional net profit of 14.9939 million yuan. After replacing the natural gas boiler with the organic heat carrier boiler, it is estimated that carbon dioxide emissions will be reduced by 5,932 tons annually
