# Huafon Chemical terminates the issuance of shares and cash payment for asset acquisition

According to the Zhitong Finance APP, Huafon Chemical (002064.SZ) announced that the company intends to acquire 100.00% equity of Zhejiang Huafon Synthetic Resin Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Huafon Synthetic Resin") held by Huafon Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Huafon Group"), You Xiaoping, You Jinhua, and You Xiaohua through the issuance of shares and cash payment; and intends to acquire 100.00% equity of Zhejiang Huafon Thermoplastic Polyurethane Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Huafon Thermoplastic") held by Huafon Group through the issuance of shares and cash payment (hereinafter referred to as "this transaction" or "transaction"). Given that the relevant proposals for this transaction did not receive more than 2/3 of the total voting rights of the shareholders' meeting, the company, after friendly consultations with all parties involved in the transaction, careful research, and sufficient demonstration, has decided to terminate this restructuring matter based on prudence considerations
