# The Jinan Municipal Government and Baidu Group signed a strategic cooperation agreement for the development of the artificial intelligence industry

> On May 15th, the Jinan Municipal Government signed a strategic cooperation agreement for the development of the artificial intelligence industry with Baidu Group. Both parties will jointly build an artificial intelligence ecosystem, promote the development of related industries, establish a data labeling base, cultivate professional talent, and apply large models in areas such as government affairs, healthcare, education, industry, and transportation to assist in the digital transformation of traditional industries. In addition, they will explore cooperation in the field of autonomous driving

On May 15th, Liu Qiang, Secretary of the Jinan Municipal Committee, and Yu Haitan, Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Committee and Mayor, met with Baidu Group founder, Chairman, and CEO Robin Li at the Shandong Hotel, and jointly witnessed the signing of a strategic cooperation agreement. The two parties will build an artificial intelligence ecosystem to drive the development of related industries; establish an artificial intelligence data labeling base to cultivate professional talent in data elements; create large model applications suitable for government affairs, healthcare, education, industry, transportation, and other fields to empower the digital transformation of traditional industries; and explore cooperation in the field of autonomous driving, conducting on-site verification of autonomous driving technology
